  • PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science, Engineering or a related field, from a highly distinguished institution
  • Highly published author in top tier scientific press
  • Extremely strong Mathematics and Statistics, genuinely passion for the subject
  • 2 years’ current experience in Equities Quantitative Research – long/short, systematic…
  • Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques (auto-regression, auto-correlation, and Principal Component Analysis)
  • Solid data-mining and analysis skills, including experience dealing with a large amount of data/tick data
  • Strong programming skills in MATLAB
  • Interest in financial markets, machine learning, AI (plus)
  • The ability to think rigorously and independently and cooperate within a small team
  • Brilliant problem-solving abilities
  • Research and Designing new alpha trading models for the business
  • Developing and Implementing mathematical models
  • Maintaining a framework for back-testing and reporting trading strategies
  • Designing, implementing, and deploying algorithms
  • Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and market structure for patterns
  • Deeply analyze data for patterns
  • Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading
